Richard Friedberg, Ph.D., has been a professional philatelist since 1974. He served as president of the American Revenue Association for four terms (1984–92), was a 20 year columnist for Linn's Stamp News, and expertizes revenues, currently for the Philatelic Foundation and for the American Philalic Experitizing Service. He is the author of Introduction to United States Revenue Stamps.
Richard has also written a number of revenue auction catalogs as a consultant to a variety of auction firms The sales include the Weill Revenues (Christies), Joyce Private Die Proprietaries (Levitt) and the two sales of NPM holdings (Bennett).
